CarUp started as a simple side project: pay once to put a car on the board, and the amount is the rank. Votes are free and break ties — that's it. Money sets the rank. Votes break ties.
Then it went live
The board launched on August 19th, 2026, at 11:08 PM.
A few things that happened since then:
Enough traffic to melt the first hosting plan. A 911 GT3 and a LaFerrari have swapped #1 four times. Someone added their grandfather's 1987 Golf and it cracked the top 100 for an afternoon.
The board is still here. Same rules. Same idea. One car, one photo, one vote at a time.
